VLV Photography

I just finished up on little Braden’s newborn session images. I just HAD to post this on my blog. I love how it turned out and wanted to share it here. This is why I LOVE what I do…the end result. Not just a photograph; anyone can take that, but a piece of art to hang on your wall. That is how I look at my work…as photographic art. And this image would be a beautiful gallery wrap; I can see it already. In the upcoming days I will post an example of a gallery wrap of a photo I took this summer, so y’all know what I mean. Anywho…enjoy ooooing & awwwwing over this….it sure makes me smile. If only those little piggies stayed so little

I had the pleasure of being a part of this couple’s private ceremony. It was just these two love birds, vowing to be there for one another for the rest of their lives (and immediate family & close friends). It was a special moment for me to be a part of and I thank them for that. Hope you two like your images!

So the little guy has finally opened his eyes in this bright, big world and I was more than excited to be his designated photographer!  He wasn’t too much into sleeping;  surprisingly, for only being 11 days old.  Towards the end he was tuckered out though.  Anyway, I did his mama’s maternity session…..here’s a post for a re-cap.
This turned out to be her favorite & also one of mine (which I previously hadn’t posted on here).  But anyway…now to the star of the show……oh…the smell of newborns….I wish that scent could be found in a bottle!   (and it was not an easy task to choose which ones to post)

I’ve known the mama & papa of these two kiddos pretty much all my life.  It’s interesting to see where the paths in our lives have taken us;  careers, new homes, new cities, new adventures, then children.  I feel privaged to get the opportunity to document a little moment of time in their lives, after knowing them all these years.  And these two were so much fun They made my job too easy! And for not feeling well, Lily was so laid back, easy-going. And Jake…well, he’s quite the little charmer. I hope you like your sneak peak friends & thank you for letting me capture all their cuteness

Sorry, no photo in this post. Okay, it’s Sunday, Oct. 18th & it’s a .  Not a winner and it was quite fair since they use a “random pick” program.  Oh well…there’s always another contest!  Now back to business…working on the content on my site.  Chow ’til next time

One of these cuties is my middle child, Alexandra.  She’s the one on the far left &  she’s soon-to-be 3, going on 13;  at least she has the attitude like she’s going to be a teenager!  The other three cuties are my nieces.  Get these chickies together and you’re bound to be entertained.  I’m so thankful our children have cousins around their age.  I hope they all remain close their entire lives.  Next…I have to post one of  our oldest and only son, Xavier.  He’ll be 5 going on 15 before I know it!  Stay tuned for that posting!  Otherwise, just keep on a smilin’ at these cuties, I know you are
