I’ve been meaning to get these images posted for a while now.  I finally got a little time to play around on photoshop and discovered another way of posting images on my blog.  This layflat book was designed for the couple whose wedding I photographed this past November.  To see images from their big day click here.  Layflat books are available in the {Full Graduate Collection} and also the I Do {Elite Collection}.  The books have 10 pages/20 sides, and the pages are hardly flimsy.  I can’t forget to mention the packaging….a must see to appreciate;  so pretty you won’t want to throw it away! 

In other business, I’m looking forward to offering an “All About Me” album for children’s sessions.  These albums are adorable with room for the child to draw a self-portrait, trace their hand, and more.  A nice keepsake to have each year or every few year’s of a child’s life or as a one-of-a-kind gift idea.  Also in other business, I’ve decided to extend the deadline for the “Share the Love Valentine’s Day Giveaway” until midnight this coming Friday the 29th.  Email me your submissions.  You or a deserving couple you know can’t win if you don’t enter!   

Anyway…..back to the point of this post!

These two handsome kiddos are my nephews.  This was a “fly-by-the-seat-of-my-pants” type of session.  Since I don’t have a studio, these were taken in my home and I had to improvise.  I’ll be posting some more examples of an “in-my-home” session with my own children in a few days.  All you really need for a great shot is a non-distracting background, nice natural light, and cute subjects (such as these) don’t hurt either!   Also, in a couple weeks check back for some images from a newborn session I can’t wait for!  But first…these two, big brother Blake and little brother Jacob;  A.K.A. “Scary Vampire” & “Buzz Lightyear.”  Who says costumes can’t be worn year-round?  I think I’ll have to do a costumes only session with them this spring!
