Happy Monday folks!  I hope everyone was able to enjoy the wonderful weather this weekend!  I thought for sure with a 70% chance of rain, the wedding between Kristie & Matt on Saturday, would’ve been a wet one.  To our surprise, it was a beautiful day!  We couldn’t have asked for better!  I got a shot I’m pretty much in love with but it will have to wait until the happy couple returns from London & Paris at the end of the month.  I’m so living vicariously through them right now!  lol!  I did promise though I would wait for their return to post the sneak peek though as they won’t have internet.

Yesterday I got to play with cute lab puppies that were incorporated into a senior split session.  I typically do not work Sundays but this was a special request as soon, all the pups would be gone but one.  I won’t be posting pics from this session until after the full session takes place later this summer.

I do have a sneak peek to get done for another engagement session and that’s on my to-do list for today.  This Thursday I have another session with the cute little Vander Voste boys and their new little sister Nicole.  I love the enthusiasm of those kiddos and our sessions are always so much fun!

In less than two weeks I head to MT for the wedding of Krista & Nate.  I love that drive.  Call me crazy but I don’t get a lot of thinking time so I often don’t even have the radio on when I drive.  That’s my zen time, thinking of session idea time, marketing ideas, and just thinking about life in general.  If you’re ever on a long drive, just turn the radio off, don’t talk on the phone, but rather let your mind wander.  I do this in the shower too and I’ve actually gotten session ideas in the shower! lol!  Hey, when you have young kiddos, you gotta take advantage of quiet time every chance you get!  I’m sure moms can relate….going to the bathroom with the door shut often goes out the window too once you have kids.  Locking the door doesn’t help either-they know the trick to use with a screwdriver!  Or is it just my kids that are bound and determined to drive their mother crazy???  lol!

Anyway, this week with senior sessions in my mind, I want to share some what to wear guides for seniors.  Whatever your seniors style is, we can work with it.  These are just examples.  I love different, I love unique and I love seniors that have their own ideas…so bring ‘em on! :)

Have a great week everyone!  Until next time, Live, Love, and Laugh with the one you’re with…you know the drill! ;)
