Today’s post is rather late as I had an unexpected trip out of town.  So, to the two people who actually read my blog posts…sorry about the delay!  ;)

What a fun weekend I had!  I photographed the wedding of Lisa & Barry where I also got to see a lot of people I hadn’t seen in a long time, as well as meet some new people I’d be happy to call friends!  Shout out to the bridesmaids-you chicks are fun!! lol!  It was a great time!  The weather was beautiful, everyone was where they needed to be, and just so much fun!!

I actually ended up staying the night in Wishek the night of the wedding because my van decided to take a crapper.  It’s funny how things work out though….my mom sent me on a beer run {no joke} and when I get back, the van is running hot.  Long story short?  I have a brother-in-law that knows mechanics and gave a temporary solution to my problem so that I could make it home the next day {easy fix with a new thermostat-Yay!}.  Moral of the story?  Have a mom that sends you on beer runs!  Had she not had her craving for a clamato beer, I would’ve been down the highway who knows where with my 3 kids.  Also, marry the right guy that either A. knows auto stuff or B. has a brother {or sister-chicks can know auto stuff too} that knows auto stuff!  Really…..in life, it’s who you know a lot of the time!!! ;)   Thanks to my bro-in-law!!!

Anyway, Sunday it was Mother’s Day and I vowed to do ZERO cooking.  Hey, you gotta milk it all you can!  So…the hubby threw a couple pizzas in the oven for supper.  Although he makes pretty good knoephla soup, I didn’t get any of that. :(   For supper though, we had a very nice meal courtesy of Hague Cafe.  So…no cooking and no dishes for me!  Yay!  Double score!I hope all my family/friend/client mama’s had a lovely Mother’s Day!!!  Ugh…back to reality…I have to come up with something for supper!  Bleh.  If I would win a million dollars I would A. Hire out housekeeping and B. Have my own personal cook.  Then maybe my picky daughter would eat the food in front of her!  I’m usually a pretty tidy person but after 3 kids you just learn to ”let things go” much more easily! lol!

So that was my weekend!  Oh-I got a newsletter sent out on Saturday.  If you haven’t signed up to receive it, you should!  I didn’t send it to client’s I’ve had this year because I decided I want to be sure you receive it only if you wish to.  Know though, you won’t be getting these on an annoying basis-I just don’t have the time to bust one out more than every few months.  They take a little time to put together, so I shoot for the seasons.  You want to sign up though as I do have something up my sleeve for this Fall. :)

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!  It’s so nice to have sunshine for a change!  My daughter was picking me “sunshine flowers” {dandelions} today.  I just love that name she gave them!  Makes them seem so much less like a weed…..sunshine flowers…I like it. ;)

Well, you’ll wanna be a “liker” of my FB page as I’ll be posting a sneaky peek back here on the blog tomorrow!  Make it a great day!

Until next time….Live, Laugh, and Love the one you’re with…..they just might know someone who knows someone who knows a thing or two! :)
