2011

I was very much looking forward to this session simply because it was going to be very different than any other. I was also planning to bring my portable power that I had yet taken out on location so that only added to my excitement!

I should add that Liz’s mom was a classmate of my brother’s and I also had worked with Liz’s grandmother {hugs to her} back when I cleaned rooms at the Wishek Inn. Someday I’ll list all the random jobs I’ve had in my life and selling Kirby vacuum cleaners is not excluded-lol! Hopefully this photography gig sticks though! Anywho, so actually there was a history there with Liz’s family and myself and I was thrilled when her mom called me to do Liz’s senior pictures. And I’m even happier to know that it’s all because of Liz’s grandmother mentioning me that I got to work with Liz in the first place! It’s crazy how things come full circle and where I’ve ended up.

So I’ll start out by saying Liz is just beautiful. Liz, you’re beautiful and don’t ever let someone tell you differently. Someday I would love to see that face without all the makeup as you certainly don’t need it! There was a time when I had skin like that-sunscreen people!!!! ;) Also, as I’m writing this I’m torn between writing it as Liz is reading it, directing it to her or writing it as if it’s to my readers {if you’re out there}. So I apologize if I jump back and forth. You’ve probably noticed that is a trend throughout my posts. So okay, Liz is beautiful…what else is she? Hmm…well, she’s a natural in front of the camera as I really didn’t have to give much direction. She just seemed very comfortable. It was, however, tough to get a laugh out of her. It wasn’t until I took a shot I loved and naturally, I yell out “that’s HOT!” She busted a gut and that’s when I got this series. I love it. Anyone who has a session with me will probably hear me say “that’s hot” at least once during the session. Or I just get really excited and into the session and yell obnoxiously! LOL!  I tend to roll my tongue really loud too-usually to get people’s attention! LOL!  I love this natural series of expressions.  And her face is framed perfectly in this top image too.  Thank you gentle breeze. :)

I really had such a fun time with Liz and her family. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek and love your gallery even more. Thank you for your patience as I was getting my lighting set up and for all your assistance as well!

Enjoy your senior year Liz, it goes by so very fast!  Now onto the rest of the images! :)

This first set includes what used to be Liz’s dad’s Chevelle and my studio lights being used on-location outdoors for the first time!  Yay!  I can’t wait to do this again-I might just have to make my children my guinea pigs! ;)

I LOVE this next one & the little wisps of hair.

It took me a few tries to get this next one, but I think I got it! :)

I hope you enjoyed your sneak peek!  Thank you Liz & crew for the amazing session!
